Bonaire Marine Park

 
The Marine Park extends from the high water mark to the 60m (200 Ft.) depth contour all the way around Bonaire and Klein Bonaire encompassing an area of approximately 270 hectares. The Marine Park was created to ensure that the marine resources of the island, the magnificent coral reefs, sea grass beds and mangroves are used in such a way that they do not become degraded.

Washington/Slagbaai National Park

 
A variety of plant and animal life can be found across beautiful vistas. Hike up Brandaris, a 784 foot (241 meters) hill. Checkout the birds, lizards, iguanas and more. Museum galleries display plantation life, wildlife, geology, tools, etc. There is no fee to visit the museum however donations are accepted.

Museo Boneriano

 
The Museum of Bonaire is Located just outside of town on Kaya Sabana and Kaya J.C. van der Ree. Shell collection, antique artifacts, old photographs, archeology, island mythology and more. Entrance fee of $2 per person.

Salt Pans/Pekelmeer

 
Salt pans line the southern portion of Bonaire showing various colors. Pekelmeer is a salt water lake where solar salt is produced for export. The salt pans shield the 135 acre flamingo sanctuary, home to a large colony of our signature birds.

Lourdes Grotto

 
A shrine located in the village of Rincon.

Donkey Sanctuary

 
An ecological drive through safari park that allows you to observe the donkeys in their natural habitat. Open Tuesday through Sunday 10:00a m to 4:30 p.m. Admission $6 for adults $3 for children donations accepted. You can call 560-7607 for more nformation
