Bonaire Beaches

Playa Chikitu

This spot is beautiful but not for swimming due to a strong undertow that will sweep you off your feet as soon as you enter. It is considered dangerous.

Boka Kokolishi

This spot is not suitable for swimming, but offers great photo ops of the round shaped lava pools and shell covered beach.

Boka Bartol

Divers here will find the current to be strong but also will encounter eels, rays, large fish species and interesting formations in the shallows.

1000 Steps Beach

Given it's name because of the long Staircase that leads to a thin strip of sand, this is considered a great place for swimming. The rewljlrd at the end of this long trek down is a secluded, private, hideaway.

LAC Bay

A swimming paradise for everyone, there are local bands and food on the weekends

Playa Funchi

This is one of the spots that is not only recommended for snorkeling but for interacting with the lizards that roam around freely.

Pink Beach

Take your pick of snorkeling, picnicking, or scuba diving at this beach which is accessible by taxi or bike. Yes, when the sun is right, the sand is pink!

Boka Slagbaai

This rocky beach has a few sandy spots. It is still considered an ideal spot to enjoy a beautiful view of the Caribbean sea.
